I think every parent has dreamed of owning an RV at some point. I was able to homeschool my kids and travel! You can even go and spend every weekend somewhere! You can also explore national parks during school breaks. Every time I see an RV on the road, my first thought is, “I wish I had one for my family.”

And with the Outdoorsy app, you can now live like that for a few days.

The Outdoorsy app is a complete game changer for families who love adventure. This platform is for RV rentals. Both RVs that you can pick up and drive, and RVs that your host will drop off and set up for you. There are a wide variety of campervans available all over the country, in fact, Outdoorsy has over 14 countries and territories listed and over 4,800 cities listed for RVs. The options include everything from small pop-up campers to gigantic campers that sleep eight people.

This app is designed to make finding the perfect RV for your needs as easy as possible. You can compare sizes, choose how many bathrooms you need, and even search if they come with a grill. You can also find hosts near you, near the areas you want to visit, or near national parks if you want to go to a park and camp in your RV somewhere. And like any vacation rental, there are tons of reviews, photos, and descriptions, as well as the opportunity to speak directly with the RV host to answer any questions you may have.

To be honest, Outdoorsy was perfect for families like mine who want to go camping and have more adventures, but are a little apprehensive about everything that goes into that kind of trip. For our rental, we chose one that was dropped off and fully set up by the host. The RV host hooked up water and electricity and showed us how everything worked before we left. We chose our location (we chose Unicoi State Park in Georgia), booked into the campground, and simply told our host where and when to drop off the RV. It was pure magic.

But if you decide to drive a rental RV, Outdoorsy offers 24/7 roadside assistance and $1 million in insurance. RV travel is also up to 60% cheaper than other forms of travel, so it’s an epic win in every sense of the word.

There is one thing to note. Different hosts have different rules and guidelines. You may only deliver your RV to certain areas, or you may limit the distance you can drive it. So keep that in mind when searching.

The Outdoorsy app even points out that more than 17 million RVs in North America sit unused for less than 350 days a year. wild.

If you’re like me and love the camping atmosphere but don’t really like sleeping in an above-ground tent with your kids, this is for you. Especially if you’ve always wanted to take your family on an RV adventure (or even travel solo!) but aren’t sure about RV care, maintenance, costs, etc.

Best of all, Outdoorsy really gave our family of five the opportunity to bond over our daughters’ spring break. With lodging close but not too close, our family was able to relax, enjoy each other’s company, enjoy the beautiful Georgia outdoors and mountains, and just hang out. exist Without stress, routine, or to-do lists.

I truly believe that having the RV fully stocked and ready to go was a big reason.
