When I was a kid, my brother and I were obsessed with a computer game called. You don’t know Jack. YThat’s right, we played it on a comically oversized desktop shoved into the corner of our dining room. We are already that old. So when a friend brought me his Steam deck a few years ago and reintroduced me to the world of Jackbox, which included versions of some of my OG favorites, I was pretty excited. Over the years, the company has created *a ton* of clever, funny, and extremely fun games, often packaged in bundles known as “party packs.” And yes, my family owns everything.
Now, just in time for cozy gaming season, Jackbox is releasing five new games as part of the new Jackbox Party Pack 11 ($29.99). No rehashes or repeats… just a lineup of laugh-out-loud pranks you’re not yet hooked on. I had a chance to preview the game ahead of its release, and as someone who has played many Jackbox games, I can confidently say that this new batch does not disappoint.
From trivia battles to social deduction showdowns, Party Pack 11 offers a great combination perfect for family gatherings, game nights, or virtual hangouts. Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll be able to play when the pack is officially released October 23, 2025 (same as new season) no one wants this — This day obviously can’t come soon enough).
Jackbox Party Pack 11 Games
trivia legend
I love cooperative team battles! In this fantasy world full of danger, teams must use their collective know-how to defeat monsters and villains. The best cozy RPG-like game.
suspect
It’s time to put on your socially deductive thinking cap. One of your players is secretly committing a crime, and the evidence comes from your own survey responses. While everyone tries to deduce the culprit among you, only you can defend your name or blame your friend.
dominate
This was my favorite game that I previewed. Because it’s really interesting. Bottom line: This is essentially a joke writing duel. Everyone accepts a healthy prompting (i.e. a “supportive community”) and adding to it ends up ruining it (see “Bed Bug Infestation”). The group will then choose the best spoiled joke in a series of head-to-head competitions.
listen to what you say
What kid doesn’t like making funny sounds? Think of it as audio improvisation. Record sound effects and dialogue directly from your phone and watch it come to life through short movie clips.
cookie house
Looks easy. You will be given cookies to decorate. However, this cookie is a little weird! Perhaps it is shaped like a lightning bolt, but the prompt is “The doll that no one bought.” Your work will be compared to that of other bakers, so you’ll have to be creative.
Perfect timing for party season
Autumn, and arguably more than any other fall, feels like a season where we seek intimacy and comfort. We want to be surrounded by our loved ones and laugh silly. The five latest Jackbox games are sure to make things a little easier. That means you might (temporarily) break up a friendship, but that’s all part of the fun.
