People On Reddit Are Sharing The Book That Turned Them Into "Readers"

As a child, I spent most of my time reading. During high school and college, I definitely lost the need to turn to books (although do remember you read it all twilight book).

One user on the /books subreddit asked other Reddit users what books inspired them to read. This list is definitely worth taking note of for our children and ourselves.

Several people in the Reddit thread admitted that they started liking reading so early in life that they can’t remember when they started reading at all. It wasn’t Get into reading.

Another said: “I’m here for you. If you ask me what was the first book you read? The walls of almost every room in my childhood home were covered with bookshelves, and there were even piles of boxes in the garage and attic. Weekly trips to the library or used bookstore…”

“Basically, I started reading when I was about 4 years old. I come from a family of readers. The first book I could read on my own was ‘I am a Bunny,'” agreed another.

Some said that it was during their childhood that their love for reading never died out.
